OK this is all about the how to of halo. How to stay alive, how to put down weapons, how to make things float. You know the basics!
SNIPER TIPS!!! Staying alive is very important in live. Dont go strait to the good weapon like the rocket luancher or something. Go for a sniper.a weapon that keep you safe but still on the offence. Also with a sniper someone will find out were you are so use a couple shots switch weapon and get the hell out of their cuz i gauruntee someone is after you. so move your ass to another sniper spot. Always be aware of your rader also. Many people can sneak up on you when your in scope mode. Be quick with the trigger too. Ya never know how long the targets gonna stay in one area for.
Getting the goods! If your the retard who isn’t listening about getting the sniper, this how you get the good weapon. Lets say your at the pit and you go into the rocket launcher rush. Its in a narrow passage right? So what good in small places? EXPLOSIVES!!! but of course your the retard who says “Well i dont have a rocket luancher!”. Well duh but you have fucking grenades!!! So lets review! BOMB THE PLACE WITH GRENADES!!! Its simple really. =)
Spartan laser! Banshees giving you trouble? Scorpians shooting the shit out of you? Warthogs running you over? Well no more! Get the brand new gun, the Spartan laser! This power full anti fucking everything gun can really bust a cap up your ass! This gun takes about 5 seconds to shoot and only has 5 shots but its worth it. I’s suggest only picking it up in places like sandtrap,valhalla, and high ground becuase they are the most vehicle used places. Try not to miss either! (the shot is very accurate and it has a x2 scope.
Grenades! Ok so you all know that grenades go BOOM! Good. ok, so grenades are a nesicity in online play. People need grenade to not only kill people in hiding but to take down most of their sheilds. Stay away from fusion coils while grenades are being used. Like on the spartan laser tower in high ground, they have fusion coils up there so if you see them blow them up before you do anything else. The 4 grenade types are frag, plasma, spike, and firebomb grenade. Lets start with frag- Ok so frags are good with tight places and bouncing! So its mostly used to bounce into a players cover or the player himself! Though not the best grenade type it can get the job done! Now lets talk about plasma- Plasma grenades are needed highly to win a close battle. Why? They stick to players! These grenades are common in all maps and immediatly kill whatever they stick to! (beware- grenades do not stick to brute leader, the ones with oversheild. You must stick them in their weapon to grenade kill them) So now that thats said. Watch out for these little bastards!Ok now spike- Ok spike grenades, like the plasmas stick to anything, even the walls. (unlike plasma) These send a blast of spike bursting from the TOP and STRAIT OUT! So if you see a spike grenade on the ground 3 feet away don’t be too a afraid. Just don’t walk over it! If its facing you on wall leave fast! Ok so now you know. Lets go over firebomb now- These grenades aren’t like any other. They are practictly an exploding flamethrower. When thrown the send fire around an about five foot radius. If you get someone dead on with one well. STOP DROP AND ROLL! or your screwed. Oh wait you can’t do that in halo 3. My mistake your screwed no matter what! Ok so that the deal with these thing the world calls grenades. Please be my guest to RUN!
What you all wanted to hear about, the new maps! Ok so as you all know, the legendary map pack are out for 800 points. Should you spend roughly $10 on it? FUCK YES! These maps are worth it . These are the maps and some info.
This is Blackout. Bring back memories? Well it should. This map is an almost exact remake of the overly popular Lockout from halo 2. I think they overdid the remake with the name though… Well the only real difference is the equipment and theme. The weapons are pretty much in the same areas. Easily one of the best map out of all of them. The best thing you can probably do is stay at the lower level of the map. s narrow andkeeps you close with your enemy. So the best thingb to do is probably storm off where your enemy can’t see you and then sneak attack them.
Ok this is my second favorite map. Avalanche. This snowy terrain is the only map in which a hornet can be driven but the rockets won’t fire. This is a vehicle based landscape that has forerunner tunnels carved into the middle. This is a great map used in team slayer. If your in regular slayer its not as good due to the giant size. Heres a great idea that led to me destroying a hornet with my first shot. Dont go for a vehicle or laser. go for a rocket luancher. Its very easy to get to from the start. When you start out in your base (the part where the flag is) Go through the portal on one of the sides. This bring you too a small cave walk out and them you will find your on a cliff. Turn and you should see a rocket luancher on the ground. (i did all that then walked strait under a hornet and it was preoccupied with the other vehicles too much that it stood still and i got a clear shot in seconds. And of course i took it and BOOM!
Last but not least, Ghost Town. A ruined, crumbled shithole that served as a water treatment facility in the Global Water Campaign. I favor this game the most in capture the flag or infected. Some of the forge items have changed to. The bridges are now wooden and the towers are well, wooden platforms.Although not the greatest map, it has a few tricks up its sleeve. Many hiding spots make great places for ambushing. Even if your alone. The other thing is that many people won’t even bother looking for them which gives you the advantage. Oh one more thing, don’t go in the middle or you will be shot…
